Is this a good way to talk to this girl in my class?

Ok so I going after this girl I think is cute. Prob won't get her. I don't even know if she's single. I believe she is tho. Incredibly beautiful. She's obsessed with the movie Shutter Island. Anytime someone brings it up she talks about it. So the movie is based off a book. I'm thinkin about gettin the book from the library and goin to class with it. She'll see it and naturally talk start talking to me since she loves it so much and i can use it to further along a convo. she's also a singer and is excited about simon cowell's new show The X Factor (singing comp). I just got tickets (u can get free ones) and i was thinkin about havin them as a bookmark so she sees them. then she might be like "omgosh u have tickets?" i'll be like yea "my friend and i are goin. we still lookin for two others to come with us" then she can b like "can i come?" maybe. good idea? thx
