Help!?!?!?!?! in-law advice, please? (LONG!)?

My husband's mother-in-law is making me insane! And yes, I know that my husband's mother-in-law is my mom, thank you. That is why I am putting this out on y! answers. I know that she will not see it because she never gets online. I really need to vent. I would appreciate any suggestions that can get me and my kids out of the house. First of all, I do have to say that we are currently living with my parents so we can save up enough money for a down payment on a house. I appreciate my mom letting us stay here rent free, but I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth it. To start, my mother is a hoarder. If you have ever seen the show, she's not quite that bad, but only because she has people constantly cleaning and throwing stuff away. Se gets ticked off when we do clean and throw stuff away, btw. That, I have accepted. Moving on, my mother has no regard for others. She continues to disregard the rules that i have put in place for my kids. I do not allow my children to have milk or snacks right before dinner. This is so they will actually eat what is placed before them. Makes sense, right? Well, I thought so. Either my mom doesn't understand this concept or she doesn't care. Always breaking that rule. Anyway, as part of her hoarding, she refuses to properly load the dishwasher. She insists on cramming EVERY dish in the house in there and then shoving the door shut. The dishwasher was barely squeaking by until this week. She decided that the door to the dishwasher was just being stubborn. It couldn't be the crapload of dishes she had stuffed in there that was keeping the door from closing. Maybe if she just pushed a little harder.... And now we have no (working) dishwasher. She won't wash the dishes by hand, oh no. In fact, she is still putting stuff in there. I sometimes wonder if my mother is mentally incapacitated. So, the kitchen is filled with dishes despite the fact that my husband and I are spending every spare moment between; working, cleaning the rest of the house, cooking all the meals, and chasing our two kids; doing dishes. I can't talk to her without losing my temper, but my husband, wonderful man that he is, finally talked her into putting some money toward a new dishwasher. We will have to pay the majority of the bill, out of the money that is supposed to be going toward the house, but at least we will have clean dishes and one less thing to worry about. That is, until she breaks the new dishwasher, then, I might go beserk. This, among other things what is bothering me at this moment. I know she will not do anything differently, so I guess what I am asking is for suggestions on how to keep calm so we don't get kicked out. I will try anything at this point. Anything is appreciated, sorry so long.

I guess traditionally America is where people can make it big but I don't think all the best opportunities are in the U.S anymore. The examples you gave were of celebrities which is a pretty uncommon profession. I suppose you would have to take into account different aspects of the places around you. In America there are many activities you can do, sports are generally more competitive, and there are plenty of people to interact with. In places like Europe, you'll find history and more likely than not, nicer people.

Okay, so, to start, let me say we are both fifteen. He didn't know what a dildo was. After he found out, he didn't know what one would be used for.... It seems like every time I sit down and try to study or read a book, my mind inadvertently wonders whether communitychannel has been making any new videos lately, or if I have any new notifications on facebook or something. All this is so stupid, and has really hurt my school grades. Last year I barely touched the computer, and I did all my homework on time and actually could focus in my studies. I was smart then. My mind was sharp. But this year ( 9th grade, the year things start to matter), I wasted all of the three days before my final exams fooling around on facebook. So I had to cram about 10 chapters of math the night before. OMG, right? I still somehow managed to get an ok score, but I knew I could've done was better. Also, my obsession has also taken a toll on my emotional well-being. For some reason, going on facebook and youtube makes me feel depressed and agitated. Reading has always helped me let go of stress, but now I'm never even in the mood to pick up a book! About 2 hours ago, I'd promised myself I would finish the first draft of a short story I plannned on writing. But after 10 minutes, I find myself here. On the stupid, evil, and seductive INTERNET! GOD. I really need help getting out of this now. What can I do? :(

I took my 95 Eagle Vision TSI to a transmission shop have my fluid change when he told me there is a problem with my Transmission Control Module (TCM). Therefore he was not able to change the fluid and he wanted to charge me 785.00 buck to diagnose the problem with the control module. Questions about admission into college?

Alright well Im a average student I guess. A's and B's with C's in math and science in my earlier high school years. Right now I have all A's and B's minus a C in science.... Im really good in history and its probably my best subject. I scored a 1550 on my SAT and got a 7 on the essay part thing. As far as extracurricular activities im in Marching Band I play first trumpet well I did I auditioned for Drum Major and got it (highest student position in marching band) in concert band I was first chair for the underclassmen band for two years untill i moved up to the higher band where I was third chair out of 7. Im in jazz band. Ive been given the leadership award for band for three years straight. Im also in Boy Scouts and I got my Eagle Scout last year. Ive been in scouts since I was 11. Im a Latter Day Saint and ive done a ton of volunteer work with my church and scouts getting over 200 service hours. So my question is do I have a chance of getting into a good college. Im really looking at the University of Georgia, Florida State University, and other schools like that I really wanna stay down south lol. But with those grades and SAT score and everything else ive done will I be able to get into those schools? I think I want to major n business or criminal justice and one day try and get a job with the FBI or US Marshals or become a lawyer or something in communications im a really good talker and ive been told I have great people skills. Recovery from a Leep procedure?

I am getting a LEEP procedure done and I am curious about the recovery time. I am scheduled on the 7th and I have a concert on the 9th. My doctor said I should be fine the next day but to take off of work anyway due to being put in "twilight sleep" I might be groggy the next day. She said no sex for 6 weeks but never said anything about swimming. Does anyone know if I am unable to swim for 6 weeks too? Because there goes my entire summer. Ok, there is this project that me and my two friends are working on. The due date of the project was moved up unexpectedly. Eagle talon tsi awd turbo is having big problems?

well it starts fine. it overheats quickly though and i added antifreeze but no change. i then took the thermostat out and left it out and ran it that way, ran better but still not right. it also has no power with the thermostat in . but had more power when it was out. it acts like a blown head gasket but then it doesn't because when it does decide to actually drive it drives fine until it heats up. it takes two minutes be for it reaches half way on the engine temp and then starts too climb rapidly to the top of the engine temp dial. it also has a hot steam and some antifreeze come threw the over flow line that goes into the over flow reservoir. and the steam increases as it heats up...

I think you may run into issues at the waterparks for your son. The bulk of the rides do NOT have ramps and are a thousand and one stairs. You pick up your raft at the bottom and carry it up all the steps to the top (even the family raft at Typhoon Lagoon has to be rolled up the stairs.) I know the wave pool and lazy rives are accessible...as would be the family raft at Blizzard Beach (the chair lift goes to the top there and the rafts ride up a converyer belt. Wet N Wild is mostly a carry raft up a thousand stairs too.

I wouldn't try and be sneaky and not get caught, that always turns out bad - trust me. It seems like your mom is just over protective, and that's a good thing! The fact that she had you young, she may just be trying to prove to herself, your grandma, and everyone around her that her child WILL be successful, won't get mixed in with boys at an early age, or look skanky in public. I do believe that she's going a little over the top for your age, but you are still very young. I know you just want to have fun and be treated a little more grown up NOW so perhaps you should sit your mom down and have a good girl-to-girl talk with her. Would it be okay to just let my rabbit roam freely on the deck during the day hours?

I got a new rabbit yesterday and she isn't comfortable enough with my other rabbit to have them both in the same hutch. I have a cage for her but I find it cruel to have her locked up in it when she's not with me because there isn't really any room for her to hop around and get exercise on her own terms, other than when I let her out and let her run around. She's about six pounds and that's way too big for any bird around here to lift. There aren't any eagles or hawks or really any birds around my house besides hummingbirds, lots of robins, and the occasional crow and some woodpeckers on the trees. The only other animals I've ever seen around my house are squirrels, chipmunks, wild rabbits, and I've seen deer about two or three times. There's no way for her to escape unless she jumped three feet in the air, which I know she won't do...I don't even know if she can jump that high. I would check on her often (I'm a bit overprotective) but she wouldn't be under constant supervision. I would put her in her cage at night a little while before it starts to get dark. I usually handle my rabbits random times throughout the day and then let them hop around on the deck at 7:30 and put them to "bed" at 8:00-8:30. I also let them hop around the bathroom for about an hour during the day. They both live outside. I have lived here for eight years and I have never seen a stray cat or dog. I live in an extremely small neighborhood. All the dogs in the neighborhood either have an electric fence or are tied up, with the exception of my dog and my neighbor's dog. I am extremely confident that no predators could get to her. I'm pretty positive it would be okay to let her roam freely on the deck, I just want to hear your opinions/suggestions.

I couldn't agree more. Its what is missing on the show. Too much praise is starting to be like too much candy. I was surprised at how dull it all came off. I thought he would be finished after that because it is supposedly a singing contest. How can I explain how miserable I am?

So my parents are financially retarded. They make a bunch of mistakes, and I always have to suffer for them. I'm 17. We live in the middle of nowhere, so I can't go get a job, because I don't have a car. And we live with their friend in a 3 bedroom trailer. Keep in mind that there are seven of us crammed in there with two dogs. Neither of my parents want to work. I dropped out of school because of bullying. How many people on staff is required for adult daycare?

I work at an adult daycare. The clients in the program range from 70-98yrs old. Some have early stages of dementia and others just want to get of the house and socialize. Our group has grown and we now have 13 clients. I was wondering legally how many staff members are required based on the amount of clients? We do have a couple of clients in the second stage of dementia. Most of the clients do require some assistance and those with 2nd stage of dementia need to keep a close watch they don't exit the building. The place is not lock down. My boss keeps interviewing more clients to enter the program but nothing has been discussed about getting more staff. I want to know if there is a law on how many staff vs number of clients? and what other legal requirements are needed such as space? Place is crammed. Its just ridiculous.

Help with dress sizes?

I would really like to buy some dresses for this summer, and also for next fall. I have no idea what size I would need. I'm not even sure I would fit into some of the dresses at Forever 21, Aeropostale, American Eagle, etc. I take an XS in shirt sizes, and they're still long on me. I have a really small bust, a 32A. I am 57" tall, really petite, and I can't even fit into a 00 at Aeropostale without having them fall off me. When do you know when it's time to go from a toddler bed to a twin size bed?

my husband and i disagree on whether it is time for our 3 year old to have a big bed yet. he is 3 years old, and has had his toddler bed since he turned 2 years old.. he weighs about 40 lbs but he has long legs. at night sometimes when i go in to check on him he is literally hanging off of the bed. his legs will be in hanging off the side in the floor, i have even seen him hanging off with his head and shoulders and chest down on a pillow in the floor and his legs and feet on the bed. i think he is just too big for it, but my husband insists that he is just fine, that his toddler bed should last him until he is at least 6 years old??? seriously? could you imagine? lol...a few weeks ago the children and i went to visit my parents and the my son and i shared a full size bed, and i would put him to bed before i would go, and when i would go in to bed, i would have to move him over because he made himself comfy by getting right in the middle and spreading his legs and arms out wide. he loved it. and now that we are home, he lasts in his bed until about 2-3 a.m. and then has been coming to get in bed with me when my husband gets up to go to work.. he loves the extra space and i think he needs it.. how do i get my hubby to understand that the poor little fella needs more space? i think he's just being cheap and not wanting to buy a new bed, or he just hates the fact that our little boy is growing so fast and i can sympathize but, he is a growing boy and needs to be able to sleep comfortably. i'd like to see my hubby cram his body in to a tiny bed and sleep all night to see how it feels.. so, do you think it's time for a bigger bed? or is he right, should we wait?

My room is an awful mess?

Okay, so I have 5 brothers and sisters. One went off to college so it was just me and my sister sharing a room. We recently moved houses, and there is one less room because my brother moved out. Well, my sister (who is 17, very rude, disrespectful, doesnt care about college but is going in the fall, and thinks shes sooooo awesome) got her own room and im sharing with my sister (whos 15 and im 13) which I was okay with. We have shared a room our whole lives. But, my brother came back recently from.college and is visiting for a while. He was gonna get his own room so my sister had to share with us! My mom put another bed in our room! (me and my sister use a bunk bed thankfully) . So here we are, crammed in this room. You need to convince yourself to do anything productive in life. Just ask yourself why you should complete your homework, what is the big picture that you want to achieve. The answer might be something along the lines of "I want to get this HW done so I receive a better grade in the class, making my g.p.a. higher, allowing me to get into a good college and setting me up for a good career". Yes, that was long-winded and not necessarily a regular thought process, but you get the idea. Just talk yourself into doing it. Even reward yourself for getting things done. For instance, I can go on face book or (fill in the blank) If I finish my essay, etc. You get the idea. The main point I'm trying to make is that noone can really convince you to do something, you have to convince yourself, so convince yourself!

What would you say, and ask?

i would ask my dog if she is happy and how she gets things down from the back of the counters when I am gone. I would tell her that the reason I leave every day is to go to work so I can afford to feed her and take care of her. I would also ask her how old she is and what kind of life she had before I got her as an adult. I think she would ask me why she can't roll around in gross stuff outside and why I don't give her treats whenever she asks for them.

I have amazon gift cards and I want to buy silver with them. It seems the only decent silver they have are American Silver Eagles 1oz .999 but they are like 10 bucks overpriced. Can anyone find better on amazon or tell me why they cost so much.

Would it be okay to just let my rabbit roam freely on the deck during the day hours?

I got a new rabbit yesterday and she isn't comfortable enough with my other rabbit to have them both in the same hutch. I have a cage for her but I find it cruel to have her locked up in it when she's not with me because there isn't really any room for her to hop around and get exercise on her own terms, other than when I let her out and let her run around. She's about six pounds and that's way too big for any bird around here to lift. There aren't any eagles or hawks or really any birds around my house besides hummingbirds, lots of robins, and the occasional crow and some woodpeckers on the trees. The only other animals I've ever seen around my house are squirrels, chipmunks, wild rabbits, and I've seen deer about two or three times. There's no way for her to escape unless she jumped three feet in the air, which I know she won't do...I don't even know if she can jump that high. I would check on her often (I'm a bit overprotective) but she wouldn't be under constant supervision. I would put her in her cage at night a little while before it starts to get dark. I usually handle my rabbits random times throughout the day and then let them hop around on the deck at 7:30 and put them to "bed" at 8:00-8:30. I also let them hop around the bathroom for about an hour during the day. They both live outside. I'm pretty positive it would be okay to let her roam freely on the deck, I just want to hear your opinions/suggestions.

**AIRSOFT GUN HELP** looking for a CYMA AK47 metal Receiver top?

I have had Double Eagle M86 (AK-47) airsoft gun for a while, and it has been giving me troubles lately. So i decided to take it apart and investigate. i fixed the gun and while putting it back together for another war, i broke the receiver top which is made from some sort of flimsy plastic. You can play with the gun without the cap but it doesn't look the same. Is there any site that i can purchase a receiver top from without buying a totally new gun? Please help!!!

Hi Hannah personally myself having many phones over the years & expiriencing what each phone does ive found that the older phones are more reliable everyone may laugh but at the mo im using & i prefer using my sony ericsson w850i which is about 5 years old & it still works as good as new despite having a sony ericsson experia x8 the w850i is basically an old walkman phone the reason i prefer my older phone is because the battery life is a lot better than some of the newer smart phones ! everyone has there own opinions of phones now because i dont really make full use if the internet on my phone now i would be quite happy with a phone that just makes calls sends texts & have a fm radio on it for the music im not even worried about a camera on the phone ! as you say hannah a lot of the smart phones have so much crammed into them yes its ok if you make full use of the phone but also what you need to think about is the more thats on the phone the more thats going to go wrong with it ! your NOT stupid at all in the way you think because a lot of people have phones for fashion statements i.e like having a i-phone blackberry & htc everyones got them but they dont interest me at all .... hope this answers your question .. sly

No, but mr pickle's answer about staying positive, mind over matter, etc. will help speed your recovery. As will eating a healthy diet and getting a good amount of rest. But camping outside could set you back. I know I'd feel lousy if I was outside that long with a cold. Can you still go but not camp out?

I need help with crate training!!! need experienced answere!?

I adopted a two year old toy poodle ( about 5 pounds) I've been trying to crate train her for almost two months. She is in a very small wire kennel for her size. ( she only has enough room to sit or lay down.) But she pees and poops where she lays. I take her potty with my other dog (also 5 pounds) four times a day. I feel so bad for.her because I keep her in there most of the time, if I don't she poops and pees on the sofa! I just don't understand what could be going wrong. Dogs aren't supposed to like deficating where they lay! On the rare occasion my other dog has an accident in her crate she would be crammed in the corner as if it would burn her if she touched it. This dog dances in it! Yuck I tried taking them potty together 5 times a day and after she's peed outside she'll potty in it two hours later. I don't want to take her back to.the shelter cause I know she'll be putt down. I don't know what to do ....

Hey, so today it was 95 degrees and school today was absolutely brutal because we don't have air conditioning. Our school board is full of some of he cheapest bas****s ever so they refuse to get ac for the school. Anyway, tomorrow it is supposed to reach 100 degrees, and if you add in the humidity factor, it is going to feel like 105. I also have one test and a final tomorrow. The thermometer in the rooms today said it was 100 because of 35 kids being crammed into one classroom so tomorrow it will surely reach close to 110. Any tips on staying cool? I'm worried about bombing my final because of this awful heat.

Where am I going wrong with girls?

On paper: I have a great family and a good relationship with both my parents. I see the importance of spirituality but never crammed religion down anyones throat. I'm well educated but never thought less of someone that hadn't graduated from college (my last GF went to culinary school for a year). I have a great job that affords me so much and I'm extremely grateful. For the most part I try to remain humble, I make about $250,000 at 27 (I'm not really old) and its really hard not to have a $30K Rolex. And I DON'T work on Wall St. either, all of its honest. In my last relationship I was extremely supportive of her ambitions helping with resumes and art portfolios. I like taking out the trash and making the bed. I'm not weird about kids, I like them a lot nor am I scared of commitment. I like sports, but could watch Cake Boss over a Yankee game. I'm not boring; I just traveled to Paris and Spain for 2 weeks only planning the trip 3 days before I left. Looks - are really subjective, but I'm about 5'7", blue eyes, brown hair thats short (not blad), athletic, I mountain bike and run, eat well, slightly big nose (in my eyes) but everyone says it suits me. Think a clean cut Charlie Day and a taller Tom Cruise. I like Diesel jeans a pair of chucks and a T shirt, but own a few tailored italian suits and like to dress up for an occasion. I'm a charmer in a tux too- what my old GF's mother told me. Weirdest thing about me I think is I'm left handed. Good teeth too, all straight and white. I like dogs, really don't care for cats. Recite to yourself what you remember this way you will feel more confident. and read everything fast. concentrate while reading. Then recite to yourself what you know. Since their is a formula sheet you only need to understand so do not worry you will do well. Do not get stuck on something you do not know well there is not time to understand something new.

Monistat is tough to insert?

I have a yeast infection and I am using Monistat to cure it, but the applicator tube is really tough to put in!! Year 9 End of Year Exams: How Important Are They?

I had my year 9 exams a few years ago(the year that the government got rid of SATs). My school and probably your school as well will, use them as a guideline for what you are likely to achieve at GCSE, all schools to some extent will do this, as this is the only real test period which you have had for a good few years. As for how they might affects your GCSE's and further life, they may have a bearing on if you will be allowed to take or join a particular course at GCSE level. But as far as careers go, I've never heard of a employer asking to see your year 9 test results, at the least they will look at your GCSE results if you do not have any further education qualifications. As for the cramming and revising, all I can say is calm down. These tests are not the be all and end all, and at the end of the day you can only try your best, but revising a lot beforehand means that even if you don't get the marks you want, you can say that you tried your best. I too have anxiety problems when it comes to revising. Hope this helps =]

For example, if I was undecided between two branches could I apply for both of their scholarships? I am interested in Army and Navy. Also is there a branch that gives scholarships out more than another? What are my chances of getting a scholarship? I have a 3.9 GPA, 1790 SATs, 1180 for reading and math, didn't get ACT scores back yet, taking all AP classes senior year, honors and 1 ap class junior year, all honors classes freshmen and sophomore year, baseball for 11 years (JV sophomore and junior year), in JROTC this year and was in last year (cadet 1st LT), in National Honors Society, Student government, ski club, almost an eagle scout, and going to Boys State in a couple days.
